Chris Brooks

Chris is a Finance Partner with Beckway. He is an operationally oriented financial leader focused on working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to achieve functional and financial improvements. Chris has hands-on experience leading and improving accounting and financial operations as well as accomplishments in company-wide systems and process development. He is especially strong in financial operations, forecasting, reporting, cash management, process improvement, systems and integrations.

With 25 years of hands-on accounting and finance leadership experience, Chris has held the roles of CFO, Controller and VP-Finance in public, private equity and privately owned companies with revenues from $15 million to $4 billion. Chris has experience in a diverse range of industries including distribution, manufacturing, retail, financial services, construction and professional services in both domestic and international environments. Well skilled in systems, Chris has led multiple ERP implementations as well as process re-engineering projects. He also has extensive experience in project-based and interim roles.

Chris holds a BBA-Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston where he focused on Finance and Information Technology. He maintains an active CPA license in Texas.
